Jeff Brewer has been involved in pastoral ministry for the last twenty years and has been a part of three church plants during that time. Most recently he served as the founding pastor of Hope Fellowship in Lombard, Illinois – a church that was planted by College Church in Wheaton. Jeff also served church planters as the Chicagoland territory director with Acts 29 and worked with the Acts 29 regional team that assessed new church planters.
Jeff has traveled with WordPartners to Central Asia and East Africa and most recently served as a member of WordPartners’ board of directors before joining our staff.
Originally from Ohio, Jeff and his wife, Jennifer, met one another in campus ministry at Ohio University and were married in 1995. They ministered with CRU in the Middle East after graduation before they moved to Chicago to attend Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1998. While at Trinity, Jeff served as the baseball chaplain, president of the Trinity Missions Fellowship, and church plant intern at CrossWay Community Church in Kenosha, Wisconsin. They have four teenage daughters and enjoy traveling and exploring new places with them.
