Sharing God’s Word through teaching, preaching, and life has been Ken’s motivation ever since he attended an old fashioned “Mission Fest” as a six-year-old boy. While there have been many detours along the way, this motivation has always kept Ken on course. Having served as a missionary in Taiwan and with The Bible League, and as a pastor in five different churches, it’s been the joy of Ken and his wife, Wanda, to see the gospel transform lives through the Holy Spirit.
The culmination of all this ministry came when, at retirement, Ken went from part-time work with WordPartners to a full-time role as the Regional Director for Southeast Asia. “Training pastors in biblical interpretation,” Ken says, “has given me an even greater joy since my retirement. No words can express the joy of seeing a struggling pastor in Southeast Asia finally understand the principles of interpretation that enable him to preach the Word of God with the heart of God!”
Ken and his wife live near several of their children and grandchildren in Southwest Michigan.
